Topcoat Specialist Coatings are New Zealand's largest specialist applicator, providing waterproofing, concrete floor toppings, roll coating and repair solutions to both Commercial and Industrial clients.

The business has currently 25 staff in the Auckland Office, and due to increased demand for our services in the South Island, we have a new Christchurch branch that opened in April 2011, and now has a staff of 10.
We are currently looking to employ tradesman flooring applicators to complement our crew with extensive experience in our Industry. The successful candidates will be initially trained in Auckland with a view to move to Christchurch to complement our existing team.
The skill set required to be a successful candidate includes the following:
To have experience in laying epoxy/polyurethane resin floor toppings, and coving, all facets of concrete floor preparations, including crack repairs, roll coat waterproofing membranes, including trafficable systems.
To have a "can do" positive attitude that engenders confidence amongst your peers and you will have a natural inclination to blend and be at ease with our established Core Values:

Ability to lead and motivate a team, converse with the client, and be able to work under pressure to deliver a quality result. Previous project management experience and ability to read plans and computer skills will be a distinct advantage.
Accurate and clear communicator, both with verbal instruction and written hand. Well organised understands the necessity to plan your day.
To nurture and assist with the development and education of the less experienced members of our team, and assist our training co-coordinator in formal training.
Flexibility to travel around New Zealand and to overseas destinations to complete projects, including holiday and weekend work.
