Topcoat has successfully completed the membrane waterproofing application at Westfield St Lukes Car Park Level 3. (13500m²)
The concrete surface had surface defects causing water to corrode the reinforcing steel and flood Level 2. Our team began prep work in January 2009, dividing the car park into four sections. After the surface was shot blasted, all cracks were chased, and filled with a flexible sealant and strip coated. The Poly-I-Gard 246 polyurethane system incorporates a primer and four topcoats with aggregate broadcast into the topcoats. This solvent free system is a rapid curing coating to limit downtime in areas where time is a premium.
The Polygard system is fully supported by a 12 year plus warranty and a full maintenance warranty.
