Our experienced team have completed maintenance and recoating refurbishments on a large number of residential and commercial pool projects specialising in concrete or fibreglass reinstatement. With any paint system, the fundamental success is in correct preparation to achieve a durable, aesthetically pleasing and high performance pool coating.
The process will vary depending on the condition of your pool substrate, and our experienced sales people will discuss this with you on site. A fully itemised proposal will then be sent to you outlining our discussions and tailor made to meet your requirements.

Water. Most of us in the construction industry spend a lot of time trying to keep it out of structures. When it comes to the sealing of joints in new or existing pools however, we obviously want to keep the water in!
With the summer swimming season fast approaching, the Manukau City Council's Olympic sized Papatoetoe Centennial Pools recently underwent refurbishment work. As part of this work, the joints of the 50m pool have been replaced by Topcoat Specialist Coatings with the Sikadur Combiflex system. Click here for more information on this system.
The Combiflex system consists of a hypalon tape that is anchored either side of the joint with Sikadur 31 epoxy adhesive. Combiflex is a high performance joint sealing system with excellent movement capability and outstanding chemical resistance.
While polyurethane sealants will not resist the high chlorine level in swimming pools, Combiflex has excellent resistance to chlorine and a wide range of other chemicals.
The newly refurbished Papatoetoe Centennial Pools boast Sika's high performance Combiflex joint sealing system, expertly installed by Topcoat Specialist Coatings.
